Samarth Foundation is a Registered Charitable Trust that has been working for the rights, welfare and education of the children of Migrant Workers and other less privileged classes since 2007. We try to empower these children with knowledge, skills and values so that they become capable and grow up to become responsible, gender-equal and empathetic citizens of society.

In today’s spectrum the girls are also the most vulnerable and weakest link in the society.
The key to socio-economic growth of girls/women is Education. Almost 75% of the students in our organization consist of girls. Thus we compliment the concept of, ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’.

  • In our ‘School Plus Program’ we endeavor to address systemic issues between education and society. Preparing the children for studies and later integrating them into formal schooling.

  • Our center is 'a home away from home and school away from school.' They are a safe, nurturing place for the children, where they can learn, study, play, celebrate and have fun.

  • We work out in Lucknow with 60+ such children and their families.

  • Today the main challenges of Education Sector

  • Each year thousand of children leave schools in midsection. In India with the introduction RTI the number of school going children have increased tremendously but the dropout rate is equally high. It is a matter of grave concern to all. In USA they have ‘After School Program’ for students who drop out from schools

  • Lower level of learning

  • Increasing tension among the children

  • Low moral values

  • We try to tackle these problem with care and affection.
