On 28 th May 2020 , just after the initial Lockdown substantial Dry Ration was distributed to the families of our children. The Migrant Workers are facing tremendous hardships during the Covid 19 Pandemic and majority of our children belong to this category. We are conducting Online Teaching consistently.
HOLIDAYS - For children this word is Sweet like honey or the sweetest of the mangoes. SUMMER HOLIDAYS - The elexir of life. The distinguished members of Bimba Kala Kendra came over to mark the beginning of the summer holidays with great fanfare. There were gifts, delicious snacks, ice-cream and loads of fun. Special thanks to SN Agarwal, Ashok Kumar, Rajesh Arora and Mr Pandey. Even I am finding the idea of holidays quite tempting.
ISIT OF DISTRICT GOVERNOR OF ROTARY CLUB We had the honour of welcoming the District Governor of Rotary Club, Mr. Sanjay Agarwal at our centre. Accompanying him were the distinguished members of Rotary Club of Lucknow under the leadership of Mr. MK Goel. This specific club have been one of our chief patrons. They blessed the children and assured continuous support to the organisation.
The adorable tiny tots of Kinderville under the leadership of their admirable principal, Mridula Upreti, arrived with beautifully wrapped umpteen gift packets. Similarly Meenal Bansal came over to celebrate the first Birthday of her son, Aadavan, by distributing school bags to all the students.Our children were enamoured by these Little Angels. WARM GESTURE BY ROTARY CLUB OF LUCKNOW On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti the distinguished members of the Club came over to distribute blankets and pullovers to the children. The Project Masoom of Young Indians conducted a very effective and proactive workshop on GOOD TOUCH AND BAD TOUCH .They handled this delicate issue with such fineness that the children participated enthusiastically. Small things of life like..a little attention, yummy refreshments and gifts are enough to cheer the children. There was a spate of treats recently. Gayatri and Pratibha Garg came over to celebrate the birth anniversary of Late Dr. KC Garg while Paakhi and Kartik Bansal celebrated the first birthday of their son Shaurya. Diwali was celebrated with much fanfare and fervour at our various centres. Children displayed their creativity and latent talent while making rangolis, cards and decorating diyas. At one of our centres even a small pooja was performed. Later children presented a small cultural program. Fireworks,sans crackers, sponsored by KHEL was also immensely enjoyed at our Gomti Nagar Centre. Sweets, snacks and gifts were also distributed at all our branches. On 3rd Feburary-2015 we were privileged to welcome the guests of the Indo-US Friendship Delegation at our Gomti Nagar Centre. They had come from various states of USA and their visit to our organization was made possible by Rotary Club of Lucknow. Summer Holidays celebrations were held in the lush green lawns of Wazir Hasan Road Centre. Children presented a medley of songs, poems, dances and skit. Fun, frolic, sweets and snacks were in abundance. The children of both the centers mixed freely and made new friendship. Smt. Geetika Jain, wife of present DGP, Amita Jain, Rani Narain, Pratima and Madhu also graced the occasion. Such programs are a part of our confidence building measures.
